NutraQ, a part of Orkla Group, is on the journey towards building the best subscription-based business platform in Europe. A critical part of this journey if to further develop our business intelligence capabilities. We are therefore looking for a candidate with strong technical and analytical capabilities and a commercial mindset to replace one of our existing team members and support the expansion and development of the Business Intelligence team and the Group.

Key responsibilities:

• Data warehouse design and data modeling and documentation of the design
• Data engineering, analytics and reporting (Excel/Power Pivot/Power BI)
• Automation and data extraction and transformation (SSIS,SQL)
• Maintenance, optimization and development of our Datawarehouse / Stored Procedures / Tables / Views
• List Management and customer analysis and continue automation of existing reports and analysis
• Develop demand specification of lists, analysis and reports ordered by other departments, including automation of these and translating business requirements into technical ones
• Ad-hoc analysis based on company needs
• Advisory to the organization on self-service analysis

You will be part of a passionate BI team that currently consists of 4 BI developers and a team head. The BI team helps the rest of the organization to maximize customer insight and assists in building automated reports that allow for further analysis of data by slicing and building individual reports in Power BI. You will also spend time on understanding business requirements with regard to customer insight and help the entire NutraQ team to set good demand specifications and understand the Business Intelligence possibilities through frequent training with regard to the applications and reports developed by the BI team.

Qualifications:

• Higher university degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics or equivalent. Relevant work experience can compensate for lack of formal education.
• High digital competence and good technology understanding
• Extensive documented experience with:
  • SQL coding
  • Microsoft Azure Stack, incl. databricks
  • Microsoft’s BI Stack (SSIS/SSAS/SSRS)
  • PowerBI/DAX
  • Excel/PowerPivot/Pivotering
• List Management using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
• Python experience is a plus
• Git experience is a plus
• Fluency in Norwegian and English, both orally and written. NutraQ’s corporate language is English.
