The Technical Services Specialist will belong to Getinge Digital Health Solutions (DHS). Getinge DHS deliver solutions to hospitals that align and optimize workflows at sterile services departments, operation rooms and the patient journey. By supporting and facilitating workflows and communication channels for health care professionals, we help our customers delivering efficient and high-quality patient care.
The Norwegian DHS team is located in Oslo, where we share offices with sales- and service personnel. You will join our Nordic DHS team with four other Norwegian colleagues located in the Oslo office, and 20+ colleagues distributed between Denmark, Sweden and Finland.
We are open to applicants who live further away, for example in Vestlandet.
Your closest colleagues are specialists, often either in implementation or technical support, and you will work closely together to deliver the best possible service to our customers.
The position
You will do your daily work in the office, and after introduction courses and training from colleagues, you will gradually get the opportunity to go on-site to visit customers – primarily in Norway, but potentially other places as well. Your main tasks are to deliver technical support for T-DOC - our sterile supply management solution - participate in implementations for new customers, and perform software upgrades, installations and configuration of T-DOC systems.
An important part of the job is education and training of customers as well as follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and assisting with pre-sales together with other colleagues. You will also be involved in coordinating incoming work orders with colleagues and customers.
The support phone is open between 08.00-16.00 on weekdays and you and your colleagues man it.
For this role, you will participate in training courses in order to obtain the sufficient knowledge. You will be supported by your new colleagues to ensure that you will be successful right from the beginning.
Who you are
You preferably have at least a few years of relevant experience, perhaps as technical IT supporter or application specialist from another software product. You are a team player who approach challenges with enthusiasm and care, and you are comfortable working in a structured manner. Experience with customer contact is an advantage – especially with delivering training or implementation on-site with customers.
Solid experience with general IT and software is an asset. Examples could be Windows Server, SQL DB and general DB infrastructure. You understand the importance of good customer service and the ability to align expectations with customers. You are fluent in Norwegian/Swedish/Danish and English, as you will be collaborating with Nordic colleagues.
